What is HP, CP and Rough?

HP is hot press, it’s smooth (the Calligrapher’s friend) and the CP is cold press, which means that it hasn’t been pressed much, so it’s a rougher texture (the Watercolourist’s friend).

I love Arches paper! And I love these blocks, because you don’t have to stretch the paper, avoiding the cockle.
